If I were in MaxPen's shoes, I would have put about a 90% no show possibility on the Singer meet-up. I would have been there at the crack of dawn, but I would have brought stuff with me to do so I wasn't wasting the entire time. If it were football season, I would have been "bookkeeping." Since it's not, I would have brought a couple of books because I figure if the meet is at noon, I'd be there two hours early and know I'd have to stay for two hours after the time alleged, just so Singer would not have had an excuse. Thus, we'd be looking at six hours of what I figure to have a 90% chance of being completely wasted time.

I would have brought two non-fiction books, since it's not football season. And bought a newspaper. Maybe picked up a copy of Cigar Aficionado since it's a gambling issue.
