It’s a hassle listening to the sales pitches after the tests. Luckily I went for a legit test first covered by insurance and was told I had the hearing of a 20 year old. Hearing aid companies are scum balls.

Sometimes it sucks being 57, bored and retired.

I suspect you’re not missing anything.

In general however I think people settle for a certain amount. Or a certain amount is sufficient to maintain their lifestyle and have balance. To make what some of us make it’s a 7 day a week grind. The motivation is not the end dollar amount but rather a personal goal set.

Whatever approach provides you with the most amount of happiness is optimal IMO.

I’m guessing Micky for example indeed has the knowledge to make much much more then I suspect he does. But he never really felt the need to. He made plenty for him and likes his method.
