Yes, I know. The stats are bogus, right? You betcha.
With all do respect mick that stat is not correct
In fact all case mortality is up about 25 percent in the highest vaccinated areas.
Why that is is open for debate I guess
What’s not up for debate is the genetic research regarding covid.
Statistics have a lot of nuances. You really got to know how to decipher shit. Is saying the deaths for the vaxxed went up really the truth? If 1K people are vaxxed and 10 of them die....how do you compare that to 2K people vaxxed and 20 of them die? The number of deaths doubled....but twice as many people were vaxxed. It's a wash but if deciphered wrong it can appear that the death rate went up. It didn't. In other words, sure, more vaxxed are dying....but that's because more and more people have been vaxxed. Most Americans are vaxxed now.
Since the vaccine came out regularly published results are that the unvaxxed die at a rate multiple times higher than for the vaccinated.
This was just published a month ago in the Scientific American for death rates in March, 2022:
Another way to think about the protection vaccination provides is to compare the ratios of death rates among the vaccinated and unvaccinated. For the month of March, “unvaccinated people 12 years and older had 17 times the rate of COVID-associated deaths, compared to people vaccinated with a primary series and a booster dose,” says Commissioned Corps of the U.S.Public Health Service commander Heather Scobie, deputy team lead for surveillance and analytics at the CDC’s Epidemiology Task Force.* “Unvaccinated people had eight times the rate of death as compared to people who only had a primary series,” suggesting that boosters increase the level of protection.
It is also important to consider the ages of those who are dying. People 65 and older make up the group that is both the most likely to be vaccinated (and boosted) and the most likely to die of COVID. (Being older is one of the biggest risk factors for severe COVID because the immune system weakens with age.) So when you separate the age groups, it becomes even clearer that vaccination reduces the risk of death. And because immune protection from vaccination wanes with time, and because some older people do not mount a good immune response to the primary series, being boosted reduces that risk even further.
An additional factor to consider is that as the pandemic wears on and a disproportionate number of unvaccinated people die from COVID, the unvaccinated population shrinks. This leaves a comparatively larger vaccinated group, leading to an increase in total deaths despite the lower death rate among vaccinated people. No vaccine is 100 percent effective, but immunization reduces the risk of dying from COVID substantially."
The latest Washington State study, published a week ago says unvaxxed in my age bracket in June died at 4.2 times the rate of vaxxed.
Texas data published on June 10 for May deaths showed unvaxxed died at 21X the rate of vaxxed.
Should I go with multiple studies that show unvaxxed dying at higher rates or should I go with the "they can't fool me" crowd in the internet forums?
Should I believe my Doctor who says the 4 covid shots probably saved me from getting really sick....or should I believe maxpen who says the vaxx is poison?
