Hi Monet, the following is not really a reco (I would rate it between average and slightly above average), but I mention this recent Cronenberg movie here because you liked ExistenZ (as did I) and this movie has a lot of bio-machine tech elements in it like Existenz did.
Crimes of the Future (2022 version). The one amazing thing about this movie is that it has Michael Shackelford in it. I don't know how he got the part (Chief official of the National Organ Registry) since he doesn't really have a prominent acting/film portfolio - maybe some high level Vegas contact or some such:

I can give it a go but not sure how long before I turn it off due to the Horror Genre.
Although it doesn't look like the typical Horror Film.

Here is one that isn't a great movie but it is free on youtube.
And it touches on all things dealing with APs and or the Degenerate Gambling Lifestyle.
It also features the recently departed Ray Liotta.

Phoenix (1998)

Thanx for the reco Monet. I'm looking forward to viewing it. Unfortunately Crimes of the Future is extremely gory, but I'm glad you are going to try and watch it since it has so many Existenz-like elements. Cronenberg is simply going for shock value with this movie, hence my mediocre rating. You are correct that it is not a horror film, it is more of a sci-fi/far future film with sort of a political message about pollution - just quite gory is all as I mentioned above. The mere appearance of Shackleford is the most horrifying part of the movie (well just a look-alike of Shackelford of course).
