Hi Monet, the following is not really a reco (I would rate it between average and slightly above average), but I mention this recent Croneberg movie here because you liked ExistenZ (as did I) and this movie has a lot of bio-machine tech elements in it like Existenz did.
Crimes of the Future (2022 version). The one amazing thing about this movie is that it has Michael Shackelford in it. I don't know how he got the part (Chief official of the National Organ Registry) since he doesn't really have a prominent acting/film portfolio - maybe some high level Vegas contact or some such:

I can give it a go but not sure how long before I turn it off due to the Horror Genre.
Although it doesn't look like the typical Horror Film.

Here is one that isn't a great movie but it is free on youtube.
And it touches on all things dealing with APs and or the Degenerate Gambling Lifestyle.
It also features the recently departed Ray Liotta.

    Phoenix (1998)

Thanx for the reco Monet. I'm looking forward to viewing it. Unfortunately Crimes of the Future is extremely gory, but I'm glad you are going to try and watch it since it has so many Existenz-like elements. Cronenberg is simply going for shock value with this movie, hence my mediocre rating. You are correct that it is not a horror film, it is more of a sci-fi/far future film with sort of a political message about pollution - just quite gory is all as I mentioned above. The mere appearance of Shackleford is the most horrifying part of the movie (well just a look-alike of Shackelford of course).

Not a destination, but a solid flick worth a watch during some down time:

I'll see your 2022 Movie and Raise You a 1946!!
The slow roll in this movie is pretty Evil and Hilarious at the same time.
Starts at about 4 minutes into the movie.
I got Queens... No Good, Kings... Slams the Pot... and 3 Deuces!
    Poorly Rated Movie on IMDB.
I suppose it might be considered a B Picture.
But it has everything I like.
Gamblers, Criminals, Crazy Fast Women and Quick Whit... etc. etc.

    George Raft
    Ava Gardner
    Victor McLaglen
    Tom Conway

    Whistlestop (1946)

This movie has some blah blah blah oh woe is me in it but for the most part its worth a viewing for all the derogatory language and raw scenes.
I hadn't watched it for about 25 years so it was almost like a brand new movie for me as I just finished watching it.
That never take me alive copper scene was amazing lol.
You can take a drink every time you hear the word Spic, Faggot or Nigger in this movie and you'll pass out drunk.
Woke Hollywood had to bury this movie for all the political incorrectness lol lol lol.
Even though some of this movie is Woke.
Nick Nolte deserved to win the Oscar for this role and they didn't even have the guts to nominate him.
    Jeremy Irons??
What a Bunch of Fucking Bullshit!

    Oh how times have changed.
Here is a rare gem of Siskel & Ebert tip toeing around the racial slurs in this movie...

Yes, that was a great film Monet (saw it a year or so back - I don't think I saw it in the theater back in '90) - I really enjoyed it, thanks for posting.
I just saw that Marvel Comics/Hollyweird is releasing a new superhero movie called Black Panther:Woke-anda Forever. If someone paid me a grand or more to see it, I might do it. We're lucky that there have been more movies released prior to 2005 than we'll ever be able to see since probably 99% of new releases are woke.

    That ending was pretty awesome.
Brennan doesn't go on the run... he goes back into the Lions Den!
Just so he can tell Reilly just how he feels one more time.
He doesn't run, instead he thinks he can blast his way out of the police station lol.
Talk about Never Take Me Alive Copper!
    That was awesome.
And we see just how Pussy Whipped Reilly truly is.
Acting like some 12 year old love sick school boy.
Ends up following that two timing bitch to some island so he can tell her how much he still loves her lol... BARF!
Begging for her to take him back and give him one more chance???
    Barf Again!
As If he can have some sort of Happily Ever After with that Ho lol lol lol.
    That movie was Epic!

A lot more freedom for creativity back then without the stranglehold of political correctness and wokeism.

No problem Monet. I'm due for a re-watch myself.

I never watched the Yellowstone series.
I have a problem with getting involved with these soap operas.
I had a free month of Paramount so I watched 1883.
Usually when I was cooking or doing the dishes.
    Anyways, Fucking Boring lol.
They should of killed off that girl in episode 2.
I was going to get into Yellowstone but I missed the 20 dollar for 4 seasons window.
I'm pretty sure it is just another modern day Dallas with Costner playing JR.
I'm not sure why Sam Elliott trashed that Gay Cowboy Movie... Power of the Dog!?
His 1883 series was just as bad with all the woke bullshit lol.
Someone on IMDB summed it up best... Woke Western Soap Opera.
They sucked me in because I, like most Americans, love a good western.
The scenery was nice to look at if you can handle 6 hours of cry me a river.
The musical score was never-ending melodrama that got annoying after the first 5 minutes.
And you have to listen to that for about 7 to 8 hours if you watch every episode.
I'm sure they will make season 2 and I will refuse to watch it unless they pay me in cash.

Thanks Monet, I've never heard of this series (or Yellowstone). I thought the True Grit remake with Jeff Bridges was really good.

Must of watched this movie 20 times in the last year.
    The world before CGI.
Let us not overlook the fact that this is shot with 70mm Film (Super Panavision-70 Camera)!!
George Lucas has ties to this movie, good and bad.

Some hate this movie but I love it, especially the last 30 minutes.
Some claim that the Indiana Jones Trilogy and The Mummy (1999) borrowed scenes and themes from this gem.
Catwoman taking off her clothes is a bonus.
    Greed is Good?
Greed is a Terrible thing to waste?

Looks like an all star cast. I haven't seen it and appreciate the heads up.

    Pretty Impressive Actually.

    Eli Wallach
    Edward G. Robinson
    Burgess Meredith
    Lee J. Cobb

And these are just the supporting cast with little screen time!!
The movie seems to be 60-40 that you will either love or hate it.
Many people can't stand it because of its flaws.
But I love it for them.
It's a pretty darn fun ride if you are into it and just escape.
But if you are going to get all technical you're gonna hate it lol.
I would love to see this on the big screen with all the great sounds in this movie.
    That would be fun.
