Movie reco:
No Sudden Move
I give it a solid 5 out of 10.
Mostly for story telling concept.
The story itself is very gay.
Sneaky way to get Americans to watch a movie in Mandarin.
Kids are going to love it because its about being queer and it has the Super Hero Multiverse Concept.
Both are all the rage these days.
My Hong Kong Wife hated it and my uncle didn't understand it but he enjoyed the visual stimulation and effects.
The movie runtime is a bit too long at 2 hours and 19 minutes.
After the first 90 minutes the novelty started to wear off and I was left with the story.
I got the point of the story in about the first 15 minutes but they decided to ram the point down my throat for another 2 hours.
Probably should of ended the movie at the 90 minute mark when the movie actually rolled The End and some credits.
Sort of borrowing from the Strange Brew (1983) movie inside the movie inside the movie concept.
I'd rather watch Strange Brew 100 times more instead of watching this Everything movie again.
I'm on the fence if the movie is worth the 6 dollar rental.
2 dollars per person to soften the blow.

lol it's a story about a mother daughter bonding dynamic and the daughter is a lesbian.
So not exactly faggots but they do have an odd seen where two guys put dildo like objects in their butts to gain a jumping pathway.
I appreciate your bluntness though tableplay.
Made me laugh.
I suffered through the entire movie so you don't have to.
Like I say, my Hong Kong wife hated it.
The movie is a bit of a hodgepodge of about 5 to 10 different movies borrowing exact scenes in some cases.
Some similar eXistenZ (1999) vibes to it without all the pushing for lesbian approval.
They casted one of the ugliest lesbians to be her girlfriend though lol... maybe a lipstick girl would of worked better for me.
If you really want to watch Michelle Yeoh you should watch Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon (2000) which is by far a superior movie.
I'm guessing you seen that one.
Although most people hate Chow Yun-Fat because he is Fake Kung Fu unlike Jet Li who actually knows real Kung Fu.
Jet Li was a National Champion at the age of 11 and retired from competition at 19 years old.
Of course many people will argue that Wushu is good for show only and not to be taken seriously compared to other styles.

Just finished up After Dark, My Sweet.
That movie was a wild ride.
I fast forwarded the porno a bit as I believe they only put that in there because Sex Sells.
I was having a hard time figuring out the movie so that was some really good writing and adaptation from novel to screen.
I wasn't sure if the doctor and other characters were real or in his mind.
I was into the movie so deep that a couple times the gunshots and quick punches startled me.
That was some damn good acting from Jackie Gleason's grandson.
Thanks for the reco!
And thanks for bringing me up to speed on John Cusack.
I understand that he has to be liberal to keep his money rolling in but I had no idea he went full blown crazy with TDS.
I haven't kept up so this was all new information to me.
As you can read in his tweet he is an actor and not a writer.
What's really scary is the endless amount of replies from people who agree and banish their friends and family because of ideology.
I'm guilty of a bit of that myself though as I don't want any faggot friends.

Movie Reco:Spartan (2004)
Monet, please disregard this reco if you have already seen this.
Sorry for the late reply.
I did see this movie, but as I recall, I didn't like it very much and I honestly cannot remember one thing about it.
However, sometimes when I go back and watch a 20-year old movie, I change my opinion, so on your recommendation, I will give it another go in the near future.
I watched Woody on Club Random recently and almost made it to the end.
Woody was ready to go off multiple times in a good way, but Bill protected him and changed the subject.
I always thought Woody was more of a woke liberal, but it appears that he isn't as woke as I once thought.
Thanks Monet, I'll check it out. Woody was great in No Country for Old Men (among others). With regard to Spartan, the aspect that made me reco it was the unpredictability of it and also the Anything to Win/Get it done 100% mercenary aspect. What happened was in 2004, when it came out, I wanted to go see it, but it disappeared from the theater so quickly that I couldn't get to the theater before it was gone and then I forgot about it. Retrospectively, after viewing it quite recently, I guess its brief theater appearance was since most people couldn't handle the extreme violence.
Caught this the other night.
Hadn't watched it for a few years.
Brings back memories as I grew up in a similar Pennsylvania town.
High School Football is pretty serious in... Western... Pennsylvania (Myron Cope Voice).
Yes it's been a while for me as well since I saw it. Thanks for the reco. I watched about a third of Mordecai with Johnny Depp and will watch the rest later. It doesn't seem like a reco so far - more like some rich person or group wanted to make a movie with some big stars in it (and you may agree if you have seen it).
3 Short Films by Weird Al.
lol VERY Short Films.
Everyone freaking out about Bill Murray just made me run into a movie that I was unaware of called: The Greatest Beer Run Ever
It has Bad Boy Russell Crowe in it too so it might be ok.
Supposedly it is on AppleTV so at least I'm getting something for this stupid 60 dollars a year I'm paying them.
I got roped into it because it was free for a year, and I messed up buying a bunch of digital movies, so I'm kind of locked in now lol.
