This statement is pretty stupid. Imagine someone propositioned you to betting sides on every college game of the year and they will lay you 7 extra points per game. Since you have to bet every game it throws opinion out the window. What does the math say about this bet? Is there anyone here that would turn this bet down?
The math says you would have a huge edge. Sure, this is a hypothetical. But it shows clearly that mathematics is a huge part of sportsbetting.
