AinQ, I am not trying to change your mind about anything. Honestly, think whatever you like. It's warmed back up in the 20's for Christmas with an expected high of 50 in a few days. But we were in the negative 20's with wind on top of that. I closely monitor the cold cranking amps of the battery in my van. I try to keep over 700. And I have a damn good jump starter just in case. And all season tires. They're a big difference in traction from regular street tires.

Oh, when I buy a new vehicle the first thing I do is put remote start in it. It's nice standing inside and cranking the van up through the window to let it warm up.
