In the form of a Biblical Soap Opera.
You're looking at 16 hours to get through the first two seasons.
I read the book so many times it seems worth the investment for me.
The one big gripe I have so far is that Jesus keeps saying that he is the one when asked.
This is contrary to what you read in the KJV as Jesus constantly asks the individual who do they think he is.
Getting the individual to draw their own conclusions.
Minor Hiccup in my opinion.
The backstories are pure speculation and I really do not have a problem with them.
I'm guessing the issues and infighting between the disciples were far more common and difficult compared to what is portrayed on screen.
I gave up on getting involved in these lengthy multi-season series shows but you can't beat the price on this one and I like the subject material.
Whereas I would never get involved in something like Game of Thrones or Vikings, etc. etc.
