Well, how much are you under-exaggerating by? By his own admission, Zenking isn't playing high enough stakes to only be putting in a handful of hours. At the stakes he says he plays, max bet in the 2x$250 range, he really should be a grinder type player putting in decent hours to make any decent money.

Unless of course blackjack has become a part-time thing for him. Is he doing other AP stuff (or non-AP stuff) to make a living and blackjack is just a small part of that now?

95% sure he just plays blackjack. He might be doing 20 hours a week, and he might have upped his base bet. I don't pay that much attention to all that.

I don't think he will care that I mention this, but he just got rear-ended(by a car that is) His car was totaled. But, other than that, he seems to be doing well. Nice place, has money, has freedom, and has friends.

I am sorry to hear about his car troubles. 20 hours a week is ok. If you actually put in 20 hours of play, it probably consumes 30-40 hours of actual time. Glad to hear he is doing well and enjoying life.

Of the few "pure" card counters remaining that play for a living or significant stakes, most play a relatively small number of hours a week or month. I know guys that travel that might play 3 days a month. If it is not traveling out of town and playing "home casinos" players might play two days a week.

It is me, and a very few others that took the "grinder" approach of playing 5-6 days and 30-40 hours a week, like I did for 10 years. That is a rarity. A home base of Las Vegas is probably the only situation a player can take that approach. And now, because of circumstances, I have transitioned, more towards the limited amount of play, for higher stakes approach....at least for now.

Bottom line: stay in your lane dude. You clearly don't know shit about card counting for a living and you clearly don't know shit about me. You are just another hater making up lies.

Redietz talks about his glory days betting at LV and Rob talks about his glory days with the DU bug but both have become completely irrelevant dinosaurs grasping via some forum persona.


KewlJ - Kewl and Rob both like to make up random stuff on the fly about others. Both who have fantastic gambling stories - whether counting BJ in LV for a decade or winning insane UX jackpots. They both live in a complete fantasy world. Both reside with family that is not their spouse. Both are significant punching bags on this forum and I presume others. Neither can keep away because they love the drama.

Speaking of tests, I recently came across an old letter from MENSA to my now-deceased mom.

Seems they were responding to a free test she took and then mailed in her answer.

It showed she scored 154 and they extended what I believe was a preliminary invitation to join.

She didn't follow up as she was very traditional: married at 19, started a family and was a home maker while my dad brought home the bacon.

Me, I'm pretty sharp but I do believe she was sharper.
