It isn't my place to say what is in those PM's. I had hoped a couple of these folks would say something publicly, but I will not ask them to. It is perfectly understandable while someone wouldn't want to subject themselves to the attacks that come just by speaking this truth.

An “early settlement” is in line with his “pre-resigning from the forums” story about how everything was settled within weeks of filing the lawsuit, even before the defendant answered. That would be in line with his ridiculous claim that the defendant turned over the video before anything was even filed and then stumbled over its feet to send him ever increasing sums of money to settle before even answering or propounding any discovery.

What has happened is that after being backed into a corner with a story that NO ONE believed about how this lawsuit was settled for vast sums before even being answered, he has changed his story to imply that no, this all started or happened a long time ago and took much longer than I claimed. But then he forgot that he changed his story, and reverted to a present tense claim that all of this happened so quickly that the costs were kept to an absolute minimum because it was settled “early.” I mean he can’t even keep track of his lies.

UNKewlJ also seems to have forgotten that he told us that “that is as much as I can say about the numbers” i.e. that he cannot disclose how much the case was settled for, and yet now here he is saying that it was for a half million, in that he has stated so many times that it made everyone sick with his lies that he has “ made over a million and a half dollars in that 20 years from casino advantage play,” and that now “this will put me over 2 million dollars taken off the casinos.” (Never mind that a $500K payout contradicts his other claim that the settlement was for “what will amount to a several years of what I normally earn ” – which would be more like $75K x 3 = $225K, or at most $75K x 5 = $375K not $500K.) (Math has never been this uneducated high school dropout’s strength, which is why he failed miserably at blackjack.)

The fact of the matter is, the one thing he cannot tell us, is the name of the casino – because then we could just look it up and confirm that he is lying, which, anyone with any sense, already knows, due to this torrential flow of continuing contradictions.

And you don’t need ANYONE’s name to look up a lawsuit just the casino owner’s legal entity name – and such a search unearths no “backrooming (false imprisonment)” lawsuits against any casinos in Vegas in any recent times, including that fit any of the claims he has made – such as a lawsuit settled early, and with no answer from the defendant (unless of course, he now decides to backpedal on all that too, and change his story yet again).

Over all, this guy is just too stupid to keep track of his lies, or anything else, including the count of a deck of cards.

Like I said, he is not just a poor liar, but liar with a poor memory.

The fact of the matter is, UNKewlJ returned to VCT (and will return to GF too! ) because he couldn't stand the fact that other than a few "what an idiot" comments putting him down, that people were largely ignoring his disappearance. And he came back, why? to try to maintain his anonymity that he supposedly cared so much about that he presented a jumbled contradictory fabricated lawsuit clearly false story just to throw people off track - versus just keeping his mouth shut?

How high are high-limit slots? Sure you'll get trolled but APs can't really give trip reports because it is almost always somewhat secretive.

Usually one, two, or five dollars, but I always make higher bets occasionally.

Depending on how I am doing, or how "lucky" I feel, I increase bet size up to two hundred dollars per pull.

Yeah, that's a wide gap between one and two hundred dollars: I realize I play negative expectation games but doing so I got up ten grand at one point on the casinos as of last year, so I am continuing to plunge forward into the unknown peril.

That's why I'm the best. I don't get backroomed. Only time I got backroomed is because i voluntarily went with them due to it not being counting related and so i thought they had the leverage. What KJ was referring to in the beginning of the thread was likely the one time they werent polite and tried to prevent the elevators from closing at Mohegan. Being 10 steps ahead, I got my phone out and recorded and asked them some very important questions such as what disorderly conduct was committed as well as asking them if they were refusing to let me leave, etc. They had to answer or then just let me go. Of course they let me go. Another incident was at Mandalay Bay which you might be referring to in your OP. They tried to yell and get aggressive and block my way to the garage. Of course being 10 steps ahead, I thought about the consequences of powering through and then claiming I'm refusing to leave, which would allow them to tackle me. They were offering an exit, just not the exit I wanted. They wanted me to go through valet. So I did. Then again, not everyone can handle these situations.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I do remember when you first moved to Vegas you were talking about seeking out some kind of issue where you could sue to make money. I don't know if you were talking of trying to instigate a backroom situation, or a slip and fall or what. I imagine you were just talking. Maybe I am wrong and it is just me, but I think real AP's want to win or make money off the casinos by the rules. I wouldn't blame anyone that didn't because the casino industry doesn't play fair or by the rules. But I want to make my money at the tables.

You mentioned casino personél blocking your way to the garage, which I guess was the closest exit. From not only my own situation, but other players I speak with they will always try to be between and block the closest exit. If you see a situation coming and have any time at all before they get to you, you are better off trying to weave your way through the casino to an exit that is not the closest exit. Not running but moving quickly. Even with surveillance tracking you and calling down to security, they are always 2 steps behind you. Of course, if you are lax, and they get to you while you are still seated, all that is for not.

I have said several times, this incident caught me off guard. I feel I was a little complacent because I have only had backoffs and 90% were polite, some ridiculously polite. I take full responsibility for losing focus.

Let me just remind you for your own good, that the Lawyer most of us hold in very high regard, recommends that you do nothing that might be construed as resisting. The proper thing to do if you are cornered as I was is calmly remind whoever appears to be in charge that the back room detention,, which basically amounts to a false arrest is illegal, unless the patron has committed some crime. Card counting is not a crime. You hope that person in charge comes to his senses.

You are probably correct that once in the backroom, I should have refused to sign anything. A signed document really carries no extra weight than a verbal trespass, so that is all for show and intimation purposes anyway. I should have refused, but frankly my arm was broken at that point. I didn't know 100% that it was broken but suspected, was in some discomfort and wanted to get the hell out of there, so I signed the paper.

I don't know if you have been following my situation, but it has become harder and harder for me to play, over the past couple years, especially at the mid-level range that I played at all the off strip local type places. So losing this one location isn't going to make a huge difference. I can still or at least could until recently play on the strip during more crowded times. We will see if this effects that. My blackjack days are definitely dwindling. I will be transitioning to other forms of AP, something I and I hear you have mostly resisted.

Update to back-rooming case:

Just got off a video call with my attorney and I am burning mad right now. Two weeks ago myself and the other party involved (a casino) reached and signed a settlement agreement. Every aspect was agreed upon. No uncrossed T's or undotted I's. The settlement amount was placed in an escrow account with my attorney and the agreement sent to a judge to sign off.

On Monday of this week, the other party tried to amend the agreed upon terms (not monetary amount) by adding and sending an amended request to the Judge. I immediately balked and said no, that is not what we agreed upon and now the judge had sent the settlement agreement back, saying we should contact him again, when both parties are in full agreement.

To any attorneys here (not the guy on the other forum who I question his legal opinions almost as much as I question his gambling claims), I ask: What is a freaking signed agreement if one of the parties is then trying to change the terms? I don't get it. And yes, I did ask my attorney. He says we are in an even stronger position now. I don't get that. I feel like we were at the 2 yard line and now have been pushed back 15 yards.

My attorney referred to this as "legal maneuvering". I call it flat out reneging or breaking a signed agreement. I just don't get what the fuck a signed agreement is, if you can then try to renegotiate or try to have the judge change the terms.

The original agreement said I could not mention the party involved (casino) nor the amount of the settlement. I have done neither in the short time since that agreement, completely honoring the terms. Now they want me to never mention anything about the entire incident. Well, I already have, in some detail. And I guess they don't like it. Also proves they are reading this little bitty forum, just as Dan Druff suggested that casino personél do. Although I guess they could be reading only because of this case.

But it doesn't matter. I do not like people telling me what I can and can't say and I did not agree to never mention anything about the incident. I reluctantly agreed not to name them, when I feel like they actually should be named.
