Well then you are thinking of the wrong guy. I have never spread red to green anywhere since my lower limit first few years in Atlantic City.

When I played 'smaller' venues like East Cannery, would tone my normal spread down to $25 to $200 or sometimes $250. Down from my normal $400 max bet at that time, but I NEVER played red to green. NEVER.

At Jerry's nugget I would flat bet $25 or use a very slight $25-$75 spread, playing the CSM, because I was playing to generate the weekly $25 match play.

I am trying to remember the Monday promotion at Club Fortune that lead to my backoff there. It was some kind of deal that paid an extra $50 for a suited blackjack or something like that. The +EV was in hitting that suited BJ. It didn't matter if you were betting $5 or $100, $50 was the bonus, so I played red there. But nowhere that I was traditionally counting have I ever played red in Las Vegas.

So if that is what you are basing it on....you have the wrong guy.
