Things happen fast on machinery.
I once got my foot stuck on the clutch/gas pedal of a farming tractor while going in reverse.
Got in an odd situation where I couldn't reach or stop the tractor in time.
A large branch from a tree started to slowly crush me up against the steering wheel.
I thought this is it.
Ribs gonna break into the lungs/organs... game over.
Somehow the tension released, and I scraped under the branch.
I have conflicting emotions about that situation.
On one hand, I think God or Angel Intervention.
On the other hand, I figure I just had enough room to make the clearance.
Not like I've actually made a difference or helped God in his mission.
And that was like 30 years ago.
