Doxxing:
Several years ago, I posted some information about Mdawg that was passed to me. While technically doxxing him, my thinking was that Mdawg is not hiding who he is from the casinos like advantage players are, he says he plays rated and is welcome with all these fabulous comps.
Mdawg immediately complained to Dan Druff and other forum owners that I had doxxed him. Druff admonished me for doing it. Now years later, Mdawg says that information posted was not him. Well if it wasn't him, then I didn't dox him and why did he run screaming to Druff? He either lied to Druff back then or is lying now.
But that is almost besides the point. Even though Mdawg is not an advantage player (nor winning player) hiding from the casino, posting what I posted is doxxing. And even if the information was wrong it is attempting to dox someone.
Now Mdawg has repeatedly posted an address. I am not about to confirm if it is accurate or not. But even if it isn't/was't....THAT is still doxxing. He tried to dox an active advantage player that makes a living playing at casinos with the intent on harming that player financially. That is unacceptable to me and should be to any real advantage player or even just real player, regardless of any personal feelings towards me.
I don't know what this forum is exactly now. Druff called it a gambling forum today. I don't know if it really is anymore. But this allowing and welcoming a member who doxxed, even attempted to dox a member and player is completely unacceptable.
