Yes, I never intended to even get into all that. When I moved to Vegas a fellow AP told me about the mailer situation, and how casinos, especially all the off strip (locals) casinos, were literally competing for the local players, by sending out generous mail offers. His exact words were "that not taking advantage of this was leaving money on the table".

So I started playing what I am sure you and others would consider a small amount of VP at a handful of casinos that I played blackjack at anyway. Then the mailers started rolling in and I expanded to a few more. The next thing I knew it was really overwhelming me. Between the planning and trying to co-ordinate the play and playing it, this part of my AP, which was supposed to be supplemental was talking up more time than my primary AP blackjack card counting. That is when I turned it over to my partner and said "here, this is going to be your job".

After he passed away, I took it back over but by then many casinos had already started cutting down and cutting back. And I dropped some of the smaller out of way places and just focused on a handful of places that I played at anyway. Now I am down to almost nothing.

Well, I'm sorry to tell you, but this was the bottom of the barrel. Not generous at all, especially for the amount of work involved and the number of casinos.

I don't believe that to be true. I may have suspected it was possible at the very first, but im 98 % sure it's not the case. There were some significant similarities regarding casino stuff but not the rest.

I am sure you guys that have been around forever <- , experienced better times and conditions. But you have to remember this was always a supplemental thing for me. One of the best examples of that was 2012 I think, maybe 2013. Very bad year for me, playing blackjack. I made 27k, vs expectation or EV of I think 87k. 27k, or less than 1/3 of expectation. So the 22k I made from supplemental VP play, kept that year from being a disaster for me.

And that is the way I have always looked at it...supplemental. Kind of diversifying just a little bit.

This is a most revealing post by gambling community village idiot Rob Singer. My "gambling success" amounts to winning about 1.75 million dollars over 19 years. That is very modest amount of 90 grand a year. Below average among AP's. It amounts to little more than a comfortable living.

And yet, this guy Singer who claims to have won over $5 million dollars through his 3 main gambling claims and claims he made God knows what as a Jason Bourne type top secret agent for the U.S. government, and this guy Mdog, who claims to have won millions from casinos, claims to be an attorney and claims he was wealthy before either, are both so envious that they spend their lives trolling and attempting to discredit me.
