But it doesn't appear to be the case in this or most of these incidents. It does appear he just wants to say "hey look what I found" and especially if he has no intention of playing what he has found.
Full discloure: I remain a little biased about this because Wizard did this with a play (a side bet) my brother and I were playing in Colorado a few years back. For no apparent reason he all of the sudden announced this play, how to beat it and what it was worth. Almost immediately the casinos involved cut the amount players could wager on this side bet to 25% of what it was. There was still an advantage but not enough for me to continue to wander around Colorado sleeping in motels to play it. My brother stayed on playing it until they finally pulled the plug entirely a few weeks later.
But I just get the feeling that this Colorado play, probably the play he revealed today that isn't even on the casino floor yet and several others that he has revealed are situations where Mike decides he is not interested in playing that, so it is like "fuck those that are". The Plaza VP promotion was another. He revealed that when he decided he wasn't interested in participating, like the day before the promotion.
He runs a forum populated by some AP's. He has personal friends that are APs. And yet, he does this shit. I just don't get the guy. And I do like him. I just don't get him.

Outliving me is possible, but not by most here. Gamblers typically aren't the healthiest of individuals, most have and struggle with multiple bad habits, they rarely eat properly, taking care of themselves isnt high on their priority list, and the vast majority of them lead unhappy, conflict-filled lives devoid of any real love or caring outside of casino-related news. In short, if you're a gambler in your 20's now you have a chance of being around to spit on my grave. But don't count on it.
