Half Smoke (if you are reading) and Boz, I am glad to see I am not the only one offended by all these gay attacks and the homophobic direction this forum has taken. I try to keep in mind that this forum and it's immature membership of grown men still acting like 3rd graders have the need to call each other names. And gay comments are front and center. But things are out of hand here.
Up until now, my response has been to try to convince Todd that this is out of control and over the line. He doesn't agree and thinks it is fine. Since I am not alone and others, not even gay see this as offensive, I have decided to take the next step. I have already informed Todd of this. I will be contacting 3 TV stations here in Vegas and the Review-Journal with links to this forum, thread and several other threads and comments I have personally found offensive. And I will be informing them that this forum, which now traffics in homophobic hate and attacks regularly is owned and run By Todd Witteles, professional poker player.
Hopefully someone will run a story, but in all honesty, probably not until some gay bar or gay parade gets shot up here in Vegas then they will run something about the online hate that has been escalating for quite a while.
I am going to hold off a couple days, probably over the weekend, just to allow Todd the opportunity to consider that maybe things are out of control, but I am going to do this. It isn't out of spite, but this is out of control.
