Red said the press was there but there is no evidence of it or the "press release" online except Red posting it on Gambling Forums.

Subsequent to the book club meeting red posted here at VCT that the NFL strategy Walter's published in the book was a losing strategy. Walter's book was the most anticipated book in the history of sports betting. And he is supposedly accused at this Johnson City Book Club meeting of publishing a false strategy. Don't you think that would be a big story in the sports betting world? Yet all we are hearing is crickets.

Red planted the "press release" over on Gambling Forums because he knew someone from VCT would find it. Here it is:

"The Johnson City Men's Book Club, helmed by retired ETSU political science professor Ken Mijeski, will discuss Gambler: Secrets from a Life at Risk by Billy Walters at the Friday, October 27 meeting.

Bob Dietz, who worked for Mr. Walters during the 2002 football season, will facilitate the discussion. Bob, who lives in Johnson City, spent 20+ college football seasons in Las Vegas as a professional handicapper. A special guest, who headed a high stakes sports gambling cartel in Las Vegas concurrent with Mr. Walters' famous "Computer Group," will also be in attendance.

The meeting, which is open to the public, begins at 3:30 PM in the lounge area of The Italian Pizza Pub at 807 W. Walnut Street in Johnson City."

The "co-host's" name would have been known at the "book club meeting" with the press there. And his name would certainly be publicly known in the football contest. So why won't redietz say his name here? Maybe because the guy is fictitious.

    That must be it.
Ditz, have you heard back from Mijeski on my questions about the "book club meeting?"

No, I haven't seen Ken in a week or two. Ken, by the way, was not at the meeting because his wife came down with Covid about 48 hours previously.

Wake me up when we have a name, because if this guy is accomplished as he would have us believe there's a 99.54% chance my co-host knows his co-host.

Here's a wager for you. You won't guess his name with a dozen tries. And I've already slipped up and told you all you need to know.

Let's see how bright the "AP" bulbs shine.

Monet, however, is 50/50 to get it. He has a brain.

Instead of obsessing on my co-host, who is currently sitting 20th in the Mega-Contest out of 20,000, how about a little love for me? In TopBet, the no spread competition I won last year (out of 1250), I've managed to scratch my way into a tie for 12th this season (out of 900). Those are quite the back-to-back results if I hold my position.

So let's see. You told me to email Mijeski to get the particulars of the meeting when you knew I wouldn't be able to contact him by email.

Now, after that fact, you tell me he wasn't even there. And there is nothing in the press about this meeting?

Ditz, how long do you think you can keep this charade up?

I didn't say you couldn't contact him by email. I said I wasn't going to just hand you his email. I said to give me your email, and I'd pass it along to him. Not that complicated. So what's your email? See how easy this is?

Or, conversely, you could try to look him up via ETSU. You could give the political science department a call and request his email. They may request yours first, and say they'll pass it along, but that's the same scenario as with me.

It's quite the charade, right? Real people doing real things in a real universe as opposed to watching the AP version of "Everything, Everywhere, All at Once" starring the inimitable mickey crimm, math wizard extraordinaire and master of the universe.

Wow! Boy, are you triggered. Be sure to take your heart medication.

Now. You told me to email Mijeski to get the particulars of the meeting. You knew i wouldn't find an email address. When I figured that one out you told me to give you a list of questions and you would contact him. I sent to you the questions which were all about what took place and what was said at the meeting.

After a week of no response from you I asked if you had contacted Mijeski yet. You then told me Mijeski was not at the meeting. WTF? You could have told me that at the start. But you either hid it from us or the whole story is a concoction.

Why would you tell me to contact Mijeski if he wasn't at the meeting? What was that all about? He didn't witness anything. Did they teach you in journalism school to get the story from someone that didn't witness the event?

A lot of members have been accused of lying and fraud on this site. You were one of the accusers. Now here you are making claims about a meeting where there is no evidence this meeting ever took place. It's time for you to put up some real evidence or admit it's a hoax.

Yes, the meeting was a hoax. And I'm a former hobo claiming to be a professional gambler who doesn't file taxes as a professional gambler. Not only that, I'm the guy who seeds all the APs in the world and puts John Holmes to shame. And I'm the gay card counter who faked dying while breaking my arm while being back-roomed. Wait, wait, am I confusing me with someone else?

Sorry, mickey. Good psychotic try, though.

So I guess this guy must be a retired professor because I have never heard of a professor that doesn't have a public email address.

I would expect even a retired academic to not have their email hidden away. That is just the antithesis of academia.

Seedvalue thinks Redietz is a rat. I have noticed how he is always trying to deanonymize people in some way.

Redietz is confusing Mickey's not filing taxes with his own not paying taxes.

Fascinating how he is turning this on others... I see a lot of scurrying about type motions going on.
