Ok it turns out that the sports betting movie Lay the Favorite, which I had mentioned I would see in another thread, is a rock solid reco. As usual, please disregard this post if you have already seen this movie.

I'm gonna have to cue that up today!
I got on a bit of a 70s kick recently once again.
Just did a triple feature the other night.

Vanishing Point
Eddie Coyle

and a movie I forgot about.
Really good movie.
Lots of history and nostalgia.
I never liked the title, but I love how it ends.
The irony of Vic Morrow, chasing bandits, in a helicopter, is palatable...

Nice triple feature list. Obviously the creative, realistic, tragic ending of Dirty Mary Crazy Larry cannot be forgotten .
