Am I then any different in your eyes than a pious, devout Christian, or Muslim, or true believer of any other religion or sect who spends a lot of time thinking about religion and who allows religion to influence their actions?

Is the old lady who goes to mass daily and lights a novena candle an addict?

How about those who face Mecca on their knees many times a day in prayer?

Are firm believers "addicts" and if so, is that a bad thing?

Final question: what is the difference between something being an "addiction" and a 'crutch?"
