I want to turn back to Michael Shackleford for a minute and then I will address your post AinQ.
Wizard is a weird dude. Maxpen, you were friends with him. I don't know if you still are. That is none of my business. But you have to know he is an odd bird. I am not obsessed with his weirdness as much as Freddy, but sometimes Shackleford's, odd, anti-socail type "Sheldon like" behavior frustrates me. Take today. He suspended Mission for saying something negative about the post, not the poster, which is supposed to be ok. And he did this immediately after asking Mission to do the herculean task of adding up 6 years worth of Mdawgs claims. How freaking weird!
Well unlike Mike, I don't care if someone uses language that maybe they shouldn't as long as it isn't too severe, or violating some minor rule, if they are exposing or getting to a much bigger issue.
Mike has know since day 1 that this Mdawg shit was just that. He has been more concerned that someone might say something that violates one of his silly little rules than getting to the bottom of it. The Michael Shackleford of 10 years ago, before he sold the forum, would have never allowed this nonsense for 6 years. He certainly would have never agreed to not disclose his expert opinion about what he saw.I will never understand what that man was thinking?
I believe that had he not signed that agreement, shortly after witnessing that wager or whatever it was, (small amount of Mdawg play), Mike would have said something along the lines of While Mdawg registered a small win that day, there was nothing about his play that would indicate any advantage or anything +EV, and over the longer run, he would be a losing player. And THAT would have put an end to this whole "adventure" before it even got started. And it isn't wishful thinking on my part that is what he would have said. He pretty much told us that the day he violated the NDA and briefly said what he thought, only to be forced to retract it and suspend himself from threat of Mdawg.
So fast forward to now. Why now, it seems like at the request of Lil red rooster, Mike is ready to have someone add up Mdawgs claims so that everyone can see how impossible they are, I don't know. Like I said, I don't know what makes that man tick with all his oddities. Maybe he just figures it is time, 6 years and all.
Personally, I don't even need Mission to complete this herculean task. because I added up totals from several of these trips, inclduing that longer 7 month trip, I know that the total Mission comes up with will be several million dollars. is it 2 million? 3 million? 1.8 million. That I don't know. But does it really matter?
The claim now is that this person won lets say 2 million dollars (I think it is more) over 6 years, playing table games, playing rated, where many sets of eyes are on him and his results all known. He claims the casinos don't care about players winning and has been comped 1000 nights of high end suites. THAT is just not the way it works!
Maybe Mike wants the actual numbers so he can now feel comfortable saying that. But I have been saying it for years. This adventure claim is sillier than Singer's Newell and/or 1.5 million dollar jackpot claims. It is just silly. (and I am being kind with that word)
