Interesting question there, Dawg, except what if a poster, be it kj, Robert of perhaps even you or your "client" Tasha / Nathan lied intentionally as part of a "game?"

That wouldn't be compulsive lying, i.e. were it compulsive they couldn't control it, but if deliberate then yeah, they could stop lying at any time if they chose to do so.

A compulsive liar would need help to stop, to "learn" how to control themselves, but someone who chooses to lie merely needs to choose to stop lying.
