They're run by foreigners who hate Americans, the hundreds of employees on board are low-life minorities from every shithole country on earth, they're put up in the filthiest bowels of the ship like packed-in rats and these "people" prepare all your food, venues for the passengers are packed virus-transmitting disease-fests, the entirety of the ship is a germ-ridden cesspool of viruses, and MAN OVERBOARD! callouts are more common nowadays than HEY...SOMEONE BROKE INTO MY STATEROOM AND ROBBED ME! complaints from the dumbass passengers.

Thanks for the warning: it could be someone else read it and discovered the error of his ways as I just read that a guy jumped off the world's largest cruise ship, Icon of the Seas, and died.

My wife and I did take a Holland America cruise up the inland passage to see the glaciers and it was a pleasant experience; I guess we were lucky, given what you posted.

We have been planning to fly to Spain and board a ship to cruise the Med, but in light of your post I'd best cancel that plan.

Maybe we should jaunt to sin city and chill in the world-famous casinos?

My plane couldn't take off due to mechanical problems, so I had no choice but to board an overnight Vikings Line cruise ship to be there on time. No issues, but that same ship on that same route sank in a storm 1 week later, taking all 600 or so passengers down with it.

I've only been on a few cruises since (Hawaiian Islands, Israel [Mediterranean], Bahamas) all before 2000 because my wife enjoyed cruises. On the last one, hundreds got sick from poor food handling (and we've all read about them in the last 15 years). We'll never go on another.
