I do believe that the USSC will do what it can to provide cover for Trump; after all, they "owe" him.
As an attorney (voluntarily retired) I am looking forward to their decision on immunity: I suspect they'll rule he can be prosecuted for crimes committed while in office provided the they were not part of his "official duties."

Assuming the door for prosecution remains open, him getting reelected could nullify or blunt the federal cases against him...but not the state ones.
He faces deep peril in Georgia, N Y and now AZ. state prosecutions.
This is, legally, quite fascinating; while I consider Trump less worthy of admiration than a piece of shit on a plow handle, I find he entertains me as well as Bozo ever did.
Whatever, neither he nor Biden will get my vote this coming election.
