As far as being gay and Catholic, Liberace was both of those (but not Pac Islander), and even had one of those near death / afterlife experiences UNKewlJ mentions.



He was on his deathbed in 1963, and was visited by a nun in a white habit who told him that he would be okay, only to find out later that there were no such nuns in white in that hospital.
