KJ reminds me of a guy trying to convince another guy, on a street corner, today, that he knows Prince William, but, got into a fight with Prince Harry.

Of course, it's possible, but as unlikely that it wouldn't be wrong to "bet the farm" against it. I guess that a few persons can't accept being wrong about even that sort of stuff, and, so, they go along with it under the guise that it could be true. But, as they say in poker, you'd just have to pay it off.

Yeah right!! YOU troll as much as anybody on this forum. And yes, I do my share of trolling, as this is now almost solely a troll forum and that is how it is viewed. But my trolling is almost always in response to others trolling me. I never start it.

As for this play, I didn't really have the time, nor the capacity to figure out the optimal strategy. So I just came up with some commonsense things like doubling 9 vs 2-7 and 8 vs 2-6, knowing that if I drew a 2 or 3 as my double card, I would be able to hit my 10 or 11 again. You could only double 8 through 11. If doubling 7 would have been allowed, I would have doubled some 7's as well, again, knowing if you pulled a small card you could still hit.

The whole thing was that as soon as my brother shared this "play" and I checked it out for myself, I knew time was of the essence. We got on it immediately and hit the road right after burning out the Vegas location we played. I KNEW there were other players that HAD to be playing this. And not just APs, but just your average player should have noticed. It just wasn't going to last that long. Although I was hoping for a lit longer than it did.

As for the coding and stuff like that. I don't know about that stuff. But I am shocked at some of the different electronic games that hit the floor with these kinds of errors or glitches overlooked? Is there nobody checking these things before they hit the floor? I mean what happened to good old "quality control"? Or are they just in such a hurry to get these different games to the floor?

You went all around the country for weeks and couldn't reach out to someone to do basic math? You don't need to deal with counts and different deck compositions. You just add up payouts of the outcomes. I mean I don't want to pick on you because you say you didn't have the capacity but then you go on the aggro route.

I'm still stuck on there supposedly being only 28 of these "newer" type machines around the country from a major manufacturer, and kew said he somehow got a list of their locations spread out from coast to coast.

First, how and by whom were these locations provided, why would you think this info may not be accurate, and who has this database? And why are there just 4 machines in the country's most casino-heavy location?

I'm a bit skeptical that "one of the industry's big manufacturers" would bother with providing and placing just 28 of these machines in various popular gaming locations throughout the country. Makes no business sense whatsoever. And if the play is dead, why aren't others anywhere that you claimed were teaming up on all the machines, talking about it? Only kew.

My guess is you're so jealous that I found and was able to play the DU glitch that you just HAD to come up with one of your "I found and played a glitch" tales that you think makes you appear to be relevant after the mugging you've endured that your bevy of lies brought upon yourself.

Speaking of circle jerks, recently MDawg mentioned the film & book Angela’s ashes.

Saw the film many years ago & was I think the most depressing film I’ve ever watched.

When MDawg mentioned the movie recently the first thing that popped into my mind (unfortunately) was an actual circle jerk scene they had in this movie.

When I don't know how long a play will last I don't want to tie my time up making calculations. Best to just rough it. Roughly 10% of the hands can be doubled. You double because those hands have the edge against the dealer. So having the additional option to take a second card is huge.

More important concern is does blackjack pay 3/2, 6/5 or even money. If it's 3/2, single deck with a few more good rules one is very close to 100%. Having the option to take another card after doubling definitely tilts the advantage to the player probably by at least a few points.

A few percent advantage at blackjack is huge, huge, huge, for a game with a variance of 2. Payday everyday.

How would kew know that a software patch came out/how'd it come out so fast? How did the manufacturer know there was this glitch when the casinos didn't know about it? All kew claimed was that the play was "burned out" by super duper savvy players like him and baby bro.

If you read thru his tale you'll see he keeps making the same missteps he does every single time he makes this stuff up. Never does he think these things through thoroughly enuf so he doesn't get caught being the same old fraud.

He repeatedly claims the play dried up or was shut down by unnamed casinos here and there. Yet he & baby bro simply move onto another part of the country to play it--COMPLETELY OBLIVIOUS to the fact that had the machines been discovered and shut down by the casinos, a manufacturer's tech would have immediately shown up, resulting in ALL SIMILAR MACHINES BEING SHUT DOWN ACROSS THE WORLD AT THAT MOMENT. Yet this lying clown never thought this thru deeply enough, and gave away his lie by trying to keep impressing everyone with his claim of playing it for weeks afterwards--with dwindling accessibility added in of course for better "credibility".

This whopper isn't that difficult to decipher when you take the time. He tried to show I wasn't the only one capable of finding and exploiting a machine glitch. He must really believe in my relevancy and higher intelligence level if he went through all this nonsense to try and dig himself out of the humiliating holes he dug for himself multiple times before.

Well that is an interesting point. So what would the process be when a bug is discovered? Apparently the casino will shut the machines down once they figure out there is an issue, but then how does the manufacturer find out and release updates?

If I recall from the Double Up Bug (and I may be misremembering) I think the first thing IGT did was send a memo to casinos to disable the double up feature?

But I also seem to recall that because their machines were so widespread that several years afterwards machines w the bug could still be found in some of the more offbeat locations.
