The Phillies. after an 8-8 start, Phils are 39-18. Best record in baseball. They are fun to watch. Everyone is hitting and they are getting good staring pitching. Ranger Suarez, #3 pitcher is 9-1. They have no closer though so that will catch up with them at some point.
The Braves. Started 14-5 and it looked like another year of Phils chasing them and never catching up. Since then they are 17-17 and Phils have opened up 6 games on them. That will probably change, but right now the braves look old and pitching terrible, losing to even bad teams.
KC Royals. Really fun team to watch and bet on. Last year they were one of several teams that I faded most of the year. Big turn-around so far at 35-22. Bobby Witt Jr is the real deal. Going to be a superstar for a long time, if he avoids injury.
Oakland A's. Horrible team. Horrible situation right now playing out their time in a city they are leaving. Surprisingly they started out decent at 17-17. They are 6 and 17 since and returning to form. Fade this team every chance you can right now. I watched a home game last week against Colorado (another bad team) and there couldn't have been more than about 3000 fans in attendance. Just a really bad team playing in a really bad situation.
St Louis Cardinals. 27-27. I don't know how this team is 27-27 throwing out Miles Mikolas, Lance Lynn and Kyle Gibson every 4 or 5 games. Goldschmidt looks old batting .220. That is actually up from a few weeks ago. I keep fading them and they keep smoke and mirroring me.![]()
