The reason I chose to build in such an out-of-the-way location was because I could go outside and target practice with firearms, bows and arrows, and even slingshots whenever I want to.

Ah, slingshots...down memory lane.

As a youth I had a "scoped" slingshot; very accurate: I destroyed many a street light with it.

We made our own bows and arrows and would shoot straight up in the air then lie down and wait to see how close the arrow came to hitting us.

Fun times.
