I am having a bad day on the online forums though. Besides, making an honest mistake remembering details form a session 13 years ago, I have wasted probably 2 hours over the last day and half fighting with a know-it-BJ player (or maybe spanish21) over at GF that had the gall to attack Don Schlesinger over the Illustrious 18 blackjack index plays. This clown wants to play 200 strategy change plays, which just might add about $1.37 to his pocket.

This reminded me of JSTAT attacking Thorp over a small mistake in beat the dealer. I tried hard to be respectful and carefully think out my replies trying to help him understand. And he just kept getting more obnoxious, insisting all the professional players were wrong and he was right. And all the while kept mentioning some count I had never heard of.

Finally, I googled the count he seemed to be promoting. It took me to threads at Norm's blackjack forum, and WoV, where he displayed the same obnoxious behavior, insisting he knew it all and ALL the real players, both Pro and recreational were wrong. BOTH threads ended with his banning.

Next reference took me to Amazon, where he is selling a self published book (shades of Rob) about his silly system, which I will not mention so as not to give him the publicity he seeks. In addition to selling his book at Amazon, he is a seller of many other different kinds of products. An online seller of many different products just screams successful advantage player doesn't it?

I would like to have the two hours or so that I put in earnestly trying to help this individual. What a waste these online forums are.
