I wasn't going to comment on the latest chapter of The great adventure over a fictionland WoV, but now will.
Mdawg announced a while back that he was summering in Lake Tahoe, claiming his family owns a home there. Very possible.
Several days ago he posted a handful of about a dozen $100 promo chips from Harrah's Tahoe, claiming he had more than that.
So let's examine this. I think I have read most of Mdawgs silly story on most forums. I don't recall him ever mentioning play in Tahoe before. maybe he did, but I don't remember it. Now of course Harrahs (Ceasars) is a national chain, so it would not have been necessary for him to have played there for them to be "wooing" him with promo chips. Good marketing departments are always going after higher end players with a losing track record.
And there in lies the problem. Mdawgs claims are that he has won Millions over the last 5 years. (Mission146 recently added up a good chunck of the claims). Casinos do NOT go after longterm winning players. And don't give me any crap about they are only interested in "theo". They are interested in theo until they have a long-term record of actual results. Long term results override theo. They aren't looking for long-term winning players, no matter what they may be doing to win by playing with an advantage.
This is the actual point that Mdagws story has always fallen apart. The winning. But here's the thing. You substitute out that he is a higher end losing player and EVERY single aspect of his story and claims then falls into place and is EXACTY how the casino industry works. All the comps ect.
Mdawg is a higher end losing player, just as Dan Druff concluded quite a while back. He is either leaving out the losing parts or just lying about it. But add in the losing and everything else fits and works.
When he began writing his story over at the forum for writers writing stories, I guess he thought no one would notice. But when he took it to gambling forums, with real players, AP's and recreational, that understand how the industry works....it just didn't fly. And he can get as mad as he wants and attack and call every name in the book....it just doesn't fly.
