This unfortunate episode will be spun to his great political advantage.

To Trump's credit he handled it well, was defiant and stayed on message, shaking his fist and repeating "fight."

    Just...WOW...

As a person with a betting interest in this election, I checked the sites I have wagers at and the Presidential prop wagers have gone dark.

    A couple of observations:

    1) once Trump was up and walked to the vehicle, without his hat and his comb-over completely messed up, could could really see a large bald area that he works hard to cover.

2)when Trump dropped his shoes came off or he took them off, because he later says "let me get my shoes". But once they got him up (shoeless) and walked him to the vehicle, you will note he is shorter than all the male secret service dudes. Either all those guys are giants or Trump is considerable shorter without his shoes. (Meaning lifts)

There was a brief shot of an image which I fear will become iconic once his handlers discover it.

I showed SS assisting an injured Trump with the flag behind him: it looked eerily akin to the infamous "Raising the flag on iwo Jima's Mt. Suribachi" pic from WWII.

I'd be inclined to put a bet on Obama to win now assuming odds are very long.

Barack Obama cannot be a Democratic nominee for president again due to the 22nd Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. Ratified in 1951, this amendment states that no person can be elected to the office of the President more than twice.

There is a financial consideration, that hasn't been widely talked about. The Biden Harris campaign has about 100 million dollars on hand, last I heard. If President Biden were to drop out at this point and a new candidate selected, if That candidate is Harris, she can use those funds. Any other person picked as the candidate, like a Gavin Newsome or Michele Obama would not have access to those funds. Same goes for staff and campaign offices. Harris could "inherit" all that. Anyone else would need to start over.

As far as odds. in the days after the debate debacle Biden immediately jumped from about +140 to about 3-1. It was Gavin Newsome that fell to second favorite among democrats at about 6-1, but in the days that followed, Newsome's odds increased and Harris fell to 6-1 or 7-1. yesterday Harris odds dropped again and both she and Biden were at 3.5-1 (or 7-2). And that is where I saw them still this morning. Both Newsome and Michele Obama were close to 20-1. I believe the reason it is what I mentioned earlier. If Harris is not the replacement candidate, they can not use that 100 million bucks on hand.

I actually meant Barrack on the theory that this might push him to run but I forgot that the amendment bans more than two terms categorically rather than just sequentially.

The financial point is a good one.

But Kamala is a big goose egg.

Joe gave her ONE THING to focus on...the border...and she did NADA.

She may be experienced as a pol but she is unpopular and ineffective..

My mistake. I assumed you knew that Barack is not eligible, so I thought you must be talking about Michele.

Yeah, BUT, Pennsylvania is a VERY key swing state. And almost assuredly will be close no matter what. And they are down at least 1 Trump supporter today with another in critical condition.

    Too soon?

Don't matter what you all say.
Point is that all the News Sources have to talk about Trump now and they have to put a positive spin on Trump.
It's hilarious as they've been bashing him nonstop for 7 years lol.
That Fist Pump was pretty impressive.
That picture with the Fist, Flag and Blood is most likely going to win him the election if he survives.
    I'm not voting.
Voting doesn't matter and it's a huge time sink that gives me nothing in return.

    Yeah Right.
Did you even see the photo they have with the vapor trail?
Fucking missed by a millimeter or two.
I thought it might be a set up till I seen that.
And the spray and pray got two innocent bystanders either killed or in critical condition.
No way that shit was planned as some sort of publicity stunt.
I might believe that some of the protection was in on it as they ignored warnings and didn't have a couple of rooftops cleared which is highly suspicious.
