Thread: Casino re-gifting gifts?

  1. #1
I know this isn't a Las Vegas casino but hey sue me...

I got an offer from Yaamava to pickup a mystery gift today. I picked it up, the box was kinda beat-up, open, and had two exposed glue dots on it that most likely a label or something was on before.

I sent a photo to my wife while I was waiting over 40 minutes for a small hand-pay and she was like "wtf is Bear Springs Hotel"...

I get home and I look it up, it appears Bear Springs Hotel is a "Preferred Hotel Partner" of the Yaamava Casino. There is a free shuttle to the Casino from the Hotel and Yaamava club members get a discount at their bistro and lounge.

But I mean, I don't really care for a branded gift from their sister property that had obviously been open and the tissue paper around the bag had its sticker seal broken...

    Kinda disappointed.

Other gifts that people were getting... Nintendo Switch (Similar value to this bag believe it or not), A Tissot Watch, Galaxy Tab, a Coach Bag and some other stuff.

I wish the casinos would just save their money on this stupid crap and give more cash back through their player's clubs. So many operators (like Boyd for example) don't even give enough back to a mid level slot player to get a decent meal after playing for several hours.

Agreed. I stopped picking up gifts long ago, because how many cake pans and casserole dishes can a person have?

I don't know. I was a "Treasured Player," at a certain Casino and they were giving away free alcohol gift sets to Treasured Players. I got my free alcohol gift set and "returned," it to a store that sells the same alcohol gift set does returns without receipts and was able to buy a bunch of stuff for absolutely free. I did this twice.
Take comfort in the fact that no one is actually backing up his wishes to have you permanently banned.

Smart is knowing a Tomato is a fruit.

Wise is knowing a Tomato doesn't belong in a fruit salad.

I am glad to get my full posting rights back! Thank you Dan!

I think the bag is sweet as hell, though I do see the humor.

Think Yaamava owns Bear Springs as they give away comped rooms to there, or used to, way too easily for it to be something that would be any sort of hard cost to them.
