Thousands play, one wins, but EVERYONE is +EV.

Everyone that uses optimal playing strategy is +EV...not everyone who plays.

Most AP games you can determine an exact edge since a value can be placed on each and every action. Poker is different because you have the "human element".

Considering poker, if an individual player's EV can be determined, by the method below, to be negative, then how can his EV also be positive, based on his status as a pro?

the amount won divided by the amount of entry fees. This amount would be the players long-term EV, (Negative or Positive).
