Your problem is you are not seeing this for what it is. This is a forum where the owner is fairly absent. The rules are a guideline. Druff isn't selectively going out of his way to enforce anything. He's actually healthy enough mentally to not desire to use his power on this dumb crap. You contrast this to other places but it really isn't comparable. It is just the case of a lazy owner wanting to spend time on other things in life.

of course - that's obvious - and I do realize this

but he didn't have the courage to say "I'm really busy and I don't really want to do much of anything here - I have much more important places to spend my time"

instead, he posts the BS that you see above - pretending that he is managing the forum in a responsible manner -
