Absolutely and I think where it definitively crossed the line is when the CC companies got in on the deal and will continue to allow subscription charges, even if a new CC number is issued! You can't allow a charge to an invalid CC number... that's f***** nuts?? Free Trial Cards (Auto-cancelled in 24 hours)
Standard Virtual Cards (Cancellable at any time)



There is no more flexibility in any other credit card I have for this sort of thing. The virtual cards are created instantly via the app, with a single click.

AdvantagePlay and I got into a discussion about VIP lounges. He was recently at the VIP Lounge at Tower Suites Wynn and felt that their drink selection is lacking. He's comparing it to Mirage, and not having spent much time in that lounge, he may well be right.

My experience is that Cosmo and Venetian, these days anyway, have about the same in their VIP lounges - an automatic coffee maker (espressos, cappuccinos, lattes) plus some pastries in the mornings. Cosmo probably has a bit more going on than Venetian, as Venetian's pastries tend to be of the hard variety, probably because those don't spoil very quickly, while Cosmo has some soft filled pastries plus chocolate covered strawberries.

Caesars Seven Stars has only the auto coffee machine in its Seven Stars Lounge, and nothing else other than bottled water available from the check in clerks. Even Treasure Island has more than that going on in its VIP check in room.

Crockfords at Resorts World Vegas does lay out fruit and pastries but only in the mornings.

VIP check in at Green Valley Ranch and Red Rock have tea bags, hot water, regular coffee, dried fruit and nuts.

Among the majors on the Strip I still feel that Wynn/Encore have the best because besides the pastries and fruit in the mornings, they lay out real food afternoons and evenings, including salads, small sandwiches, and desserts after dark.

You may order alcoholic drinks at some of the above, but the selection is probably less limited at Venetian and Wynn/Encore. Cosmo will serve up wine and champagne, I doubt they will bring out mixed drinks the way Wynn/Encore and Venetian will.

Wynn has a VIP lounge inside the high limit salon, as does Cosmo on the second floor Talon Club, with some food laid out most of the time. Red Rock has some very light appetizers in its high limit. I have not been in Green Valley's new VIP salon yet.

Bellagio has had a Chinese food buffet off its high limit salon. Years ago that used to be somewhat extensive.
