For what it is worth, Las Vegas has pretty good public transit. Buses run on time and it is just pretty good compared to other major cities. Of course it goes with out saying that there are some lower end people that use public transportation, so it is not ideal for an AP carrying significant cash.

But on the plus side, if you play the strip and downtown a lot, it is actually easier, more efficient than parking garages and all that.

I used public transit for about 2 years when I moved here. But playing many of the local type places that are spread out, it just wasn't the best choice, so I first leased and then won a car.

But if I am playing the strip on a Saturday night, I will still hop on and off the deuce several times moving up and down the strip.

And for you out of towners staying mid strip (near Flamingo intersection) or downtown at Fremont Street, the CX bus from the airport is a cheap and pretty quick option. 15 minutes to the strip and then jumps on the highway and 10 more minutes to downtown for $2. About the same time as a taxi or uber.

That is all. Carry on with your Zenking bashing.
