Two points I find interesting in relation to this:

1. I was not active on forums at the time but I believe some "friend of KJ" was the one who went on the forums to announce KJ's death.

I presume this was in fact a KJ sock, so there goes KJ's claims that he never had a dupe account.

2. Didn't the whole ruse only last a week or something? If so, what is KJ's explanation for why he didn't stick with it?

Bonus question (I've asked this before): how would faking his death *online* make him safer live?
