Actually, "coach" my daily fitness regimen is as follows: wake up, stretch, do yoga; then off to the health club where six days a week I keep toned by using weight and cardio equipment; go home and ride my Trek bike on a hilly route; top off at night with a good walk.

My surviving radiation treatment for cancer was an epiphany which further motivated me to stay healthy: been in remission for three years: just met with the oncologist yesterday, clean bill of health so off to Chinook Winds to celebrate.

I was "gifted" with size and strength and am simply trying to keep what I got working as well and as long as I can: I ain't a spring chicken.

I played sports with friends but never on high school sports teams.

As stated above I was more interested in other things, i.e. making money, learning / reading, and girls.

I suppose that I could have played football and basketball but I chose not to: I did play little league ball as a sprout but other interests took priority as I entered my teen years.

Vitamins and supplements aren't mind altering.

Addictions tend to revolve around mind altering activities, whether drugs, alcohol, sex, exercise, gambling - people do these things and their brains are chemically affected in a way that makes them feel better or at least different.

If vitamins and supplements have any chemical effect in the brain that is reinforcing it would be so subtle as to be undetectable.

Even nicotine or caffeine which have short acting effects are strong enough to be recorded as having a chemical psychoactive effect in the brain.

If popping vitamins or supplements is addictive it would I would think need to revolve around some kind of placebo effect where the person taking them thinks he feels different and then reinforces that behavior by taking them to excess. Otherwise it would seem to me to be less reinforcing less addicting even than eating ("food high").

Actually while traveling I have cut back on what I bring and lately just bring maybe 11 or so versus ALL of them. On very short trips I have brought as few as 5 or so.

Well, unlike V, I have no urge to explain myself, never have. Nor do I maintain any interest in trying to police the site, however.

The anagrams were something that I pursued on my own, had a lot of fun with. Lots of people solve anagrams, for various reasons. What is self-defeating is arguing, especially with strangers, about nonsense. But, I don't consider the anagrams to, in any way, define myself.

It actually hasn't occurred to me that Garnabby has mental problems simply because he can "turn on or off" his anagram-heavy posts. Same for example with ChumpChange at WOV he seemed to be schizophrenic until I realized that he was maybe just messing with people and capable of coherent on topic posts.
