I'm going to do something.

I'm going to make a rare pick against the Dodgers. Only because they have the division clinched. Yes, best record in MLB (and the NL) is still up for grabs, but I can't ignore what I see.

Dodgers have little to play for (only the aforementioned best record), are pitching a bullpen game, and Freeman is out. Rockies, despite their awful record, is 37-41 at home, making them usually a good value play at home when a dog.

Colorado (Quantrill) +148 vs Dodgers (bullpen)

Also:

Baltimore (Povich) +129 at Minnesota (P. Lopez)

This game will eliminate Minnesota if they either lose or both KC & Det win. I think their hope is gone. They'd have to go 3-0 and both KC/Det would have to go 0-3 for Minnesota to make it.
