    Pretty good.
It's long and dry but I like history.
I was a bit shocked at Joan Rivers.
She probably had sex with half the room.
    Starts at 9:48

Jimmy the Weasel tells you how the Jews got Big at 12:50
He explains that they put their money in legit businesses (fronts), paid taxes and kept rolling it over.
Compared to the Italians who just buried the money in their basement.

The main strength of this documentary, IMHO, was the archival news footage of mobsters interacting with reporters or government officials. For example, when Allan Glick and Lefty Rosenthal are getting interviewed by the press at Glick's Stardust property ("https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BWtgb3lsYiw&t=1955s") or Rosenthal calling out corrupt Nevada Gaming Commission Chairman Harry Reid (Reid had not yet become a Nevada Senator as you know) and his fellow board members at a 1979 Nevada Gaming Commission Meeting ("https://youtu.be/BWtgb3lsYiw&t=2770").
Thanks again for the reco Monet, I enjoyed watching it.
Most people have seen this, but it is a couple decades old now, and so it has a nostalgic quality like the even more nostalgic Mob on the Run:

    Watched the Hot Shoe.
    Good Information.
    Thanks!

I'm working my way through the Banacek Series.
    The episodes are really good.
I love the idea that he basically vultures the insurance companies and doesn't actually work for them.
The production quality of 70s TV Shows like this are amazing.
    Really enjoying it.
The only problem with this show is they aren't very rewatchable after the big reveal.
Damn near mini movies though as the runtime is around an hour and fifteen minutes per episode.
My biggest gripe is that they don't need the driver and it's odd that he hired him away from Texas (Pilot Episode).
Someone, somewhere must have thought they needed the humor or maybe they were dumbing down the Italians.
Also, they didn't need to bring back the love interest in season 2.
Better to see Banacek womanizing someone new each week instead.
I love the Packard and seeing the 70s Boston Footage.
Spenser for Hire should have had a Banacek episode.

Season 1 Episode 4 is shot in Vegas.
    Some really good footage.
Loved seeing how the surrounding area near the Stardust was all desert and parking lots.

Oh yeah, I'm dumb, Peppard couldn't revise his Banacek role in any form because of the divorce agreement.
    What a bitch lol.

Sure no problem - glad you enjoyed Hot Shoe.
I watched an episode of Banacek a year or so back (he had to do some sort of forensics involving a train/railroad IIRC) and then before that a few episodes many years ago (reruns, not when it came out). The episodes I watched were quite good, just as you describe, and since I didn't see all the episodes, I think it would be great to watch some of the ones I haven't seen, and perhaps some that I did see since I forgot a lot of it due to the passage of time. It might have been MeTV where I saw that episode a year back, but it was definitely one of the over the air channels that I saw it. These over the air channels are great. They have a newer one (or at least new to me) called Antenna TV and I'm sure there are some great 70's series on this channel to enjoy at some point.

    MeTV is pretty good.
    Banacek is a tough find.
I didn't want to buy the box set this time.
I searched around and found all the episodes on Bing Videos.
You have to filter through it, but I was able to see all 17 episodes without commercials in the last 5 days or so.
I really enjoy the chauvinism and footage from the 70s.
I don't know if this link will work for you but it's the pilot episode and will get you started if you have interest.
All the episodes are jumbled but they do currently work if you track them all down.

Excellent, thanks for the angle. One other thing about these over the air channels. BuzzrTV has a lot of the game shows from yesteryear. The Card Sharks episodes are especially great to watch since Bob Eubanks unloads on the contestants somewhat frequently. He told one guy that was wearing a Hawaiian shirt that if he saw him on the beach he would turn the other way and run IIRC (I forget exactly what he said but it was hilarious).

I've always loved the comedy and excitement of Card Sharks.
One of my long-time buddies gives me shit over it all the time.
He says the show is dumb.
I always thought it was great when I was faking sick from school.
Kind of funny when they catch a Trey or King and lose.

Yes, great point. Also, I don't think the rules allow you to declare the next card will be a tie in rank - for non-Aces and non-ducks, you must declare it to be higher or lower AFAIK (or no one has ever decided to do this and it is allowed, but I doubt it).

Not too bad but Sean is not much of a conversationalist. Maybe he was nervous. It just wasn't free flowing. It felt like he was watching every word he was saying. A lot of these guys have big podcasts but can't really talk. It's a little bit depressing. Danny Jones had a couple winners on his podcast lately if you like hearing people claim they have half alien kids chain smoking cigarettes in their backyard woods. Hard to believe anything Whitley Strieber said as he is literally a writer of Horror Novels. When he was on Art Bell years ago, he was even stranger as he talked like he was reading a book as he described the snow fluttering around with a chill in the air and a magical sunset, etc. etc. I mean nobody talks like that. He literally had 4 sentences describing the weather and surrounding area before he even got into his story/experience.

And this other nut, Neal Sendlak, can't keep any of his facts straight. It's literally like listening to some gym rat bro high on weed trying to describe the bible and other historical events. Whatever, that Koncrete Podcast is basically entertainment only, IMO. Actually, I can't wait for the next crazy person he interviews.

I never watched the movie Communion with Christopher Walken but in my opinion the whole story reeks of demonic possession/oppression and interaction more than anything else. Whitley Strieber literally claims he was being raped by a half alien/human with a blacked-out face and the room was filled with people. His handler, Intelligence Officer was in the room with him while this was going on but when asked he said he was never there. Next, Whitley says that these guys are really good people though and they get a bad rap. He even says that he was recruited by the CIA but wasn't recruited lol. It's pretty wild.

Thanks Monet - I don't remember seeing Communion either (Danny Jones' friend con man Matthew Cox, has a True Crime channel where he interviews various habitual liars which is somewhat entertaining). The guy from BDA boxing (the Youtube channel Boxing Debate Arena - it makes VCT look like some sort of peace and harmony good will forum IMHO; I'm not sure how his channel hasn't been banned by Youtube) has a secondary channel on Rumble called 2nd Renaissance. He (Mr. BDA) lightly discusses all sorts of way out there Youtube content along with some movies and books. The viewership of his Rumble channel is near zero. I think I make up about 5% of his Rumble viewership (well maybe more like 0.5%).

I saw the movie Ad Astra yesterday. However I didn't reco it because it is boring (the special effects are superb). Anyway, you may have seen it already. Today I will probably watch Longlegs (Nicolas Cage).

    You might enjoy this one.
    A lot of medical information.
    I'm only 2 hours deep.
    It started out pretty tame.
Near the middle it gets pretty intense.
I felt like Jack Kruse was gonna beat the shit out of Danny, lol.
I'll finish it a bit later.
Turns out the Jewish Mafia is strong, very strong.

When I saw, in the news, that Jimmy Carter turned 100 yesterday (in this timeline) - I immediately thought that I distinctly remember that he had passed away from cancer a couple of years back. I guess they are fucking around too much at the Large Hadron Collider resulting in some very blatant multi-versal splits. I remember reading an article similar to the one below a couple years back:
    https://thepoliticswatcher.com/pages...rter-passes-98

I also remember watching a video on Youtube after Jimmy's death (I can no longer find it on Youtube), where his grandson recalled Jimmy telling him of the story of when Jimmy witnessed a UFO - the guy interviewing his grandson started off the conversation with something along the lines of "Could you describe your grandfather's UFO event since getting the story firsthand is off the table" (or words to that effect). Getting a little choked up, his grandson then began describing what really happened (it was somewhat of a debunking since the Jimmy Carter UFO story had been somewhat hyperbolized).

But I guess what really happened is that I am the victim of fake news, rather than the receiver of memory bleed from one of my other selves in a closely affiliated timeline.

That was funny, thanks for the laugh!
I kind of zoned out in the middle when he was talking a lot about JFK.
I'm guessing he gets into the multiverse later in the podcast, lol?
Oh well, I thought the medical information in the first hour was pretty decent!
I've still got an hour and some change to go.
Better than the last year or so of Joe Rogan.
Rogan has really sold out and is even promoting that scam Better Help.
