Because bringing a random man into your house to live is analogous to someone being an immigrant? Weird take.

That was really funny but not sure the point. Anyone who's ever lived in Texas or California should know those state's economies would immediately collapse without all the cheap immigrant labor. It would cost $300 just to get someone to mow your lawn because GenZ Americans wouldn't do it for less than 50/hr, if at all. At least half of the restaurants would close, then a hamburger would be $50. New construction would triple and if you needed a new roof on your house then you'd be making a trip to Home Depot and have to get your ass up there with a hammer.

I mean we can't just let anyone who wants in, I get that. But there has to be a balance for decent people who want to work.

I noticed in this video that one lady said "So find them a home !!", so she was fine with immigrants living at someone's home - just not hers. Another couple didn't even want them sleeping on their lawn.

Here is nice article that summarizes it all (former President Obama's good friend NBA pro Steph Curry is featured in the article):

At this point, there is an adequate cheap labor supply . . .

There are four times as many people in the US now as compared to when the Statue of Liberty was born.

They are the party of change; republicans want to stick to the old ways.

    Seems clear to me.

Rob, I've no idea how Portlanders are taking it as I've not asked, nor cared to ask: like I said before I didn't vote for Harris.

It's thinking like that that's won this for Trump.

You HATE Trump...as does nearly everyone up there. That says it all.

It's pure gold watching the meltdowns on anti-Trump CNN and MSNBC. And in 10 weeks we're sending that arrogant, cackling, lying, dumbass big-mouth back to California where she belongs.

    YOU'RE FIRED, BITCH!

I'm pretty sure she knew she was going to lose when nobody chanted with her.

The election makes no difference to me but it's great entertainment watching the MSM meltdown over a Trump Victory.
    LOL starting at 1:21...

The election coverage had the same smell as the Covid-19 shot coverage.

In the US, there's this perspective that's at odds with the rest of the world, where they took real money on the election. BetOnline was taking action at five digits a whack yesterday. They were inviting six. Meanwhile, for days, every major US news network failed to mention that Trump was -160 to -180 offshore. They went with "Trump Campaign in Trouble" headlines.

In the US: Media Bullshit. Everywhere else: Reality Coverage.

Same with Covid-19 and boosters. In the US (except Idaho): "Get Your New Shots. Bundle Them with Flu."

Rest of the World: "Maybe, if you're over 60. Or Not. They Seem to Not Really Do Much."

Places in Idaho have banned the boosters. This should be fun. Pharma will have to prove current effectiveness to overthrow the legal ban. Not gonna happen.

Obviously, the people at MSNBC and CNN knew what the real odds were. This whole "Kamala's gonna win" was acting-class stuff. That's what bothers me. Major news networks shilling for US candidates by misrepresenting the true, readily available, probabilities. Then getting all teary-eyed when the US public "disappoints" them. Van Jones should take a few acting classes or learn to do actual research.

The yarn now is that the misogynistic US public "failed" their civic duty. The storylines these networks push are ridiculous. CNN and MSNBC should be left to die their pitiful deaths.

I tell you it’s wonderful to be here, man. I don’t give a damn who wins or loses. It’s just wonderful to be here with you people.
