Yes, I despise Trump, but I've no "love" for Harris either: were I FORCED to vote for one or the other I'd have opted for her, but only because she isn't a half-crazed, half-senile slime ball like Herr Trump.

But I had a choice and as always I voted Libertarian.

Nothing of importance in my life will change due to Trump being elected; I simply think it's a damned shame that he and Kamala were the only two major candidates.

We The People must have really fucked the pooch if those two are the best we can offer to rule us.

But it's a democracy and now the thing is done: move on.

Actually, according to multiple CIA authors and some international bodies whose job it is to define such things, the US hasn't been a democracy in quite some time. It's now an anocracy. Yep, I didn't know what an anocracy was either, really. So I looked it up.

The article I just read said that it's not as much a ban but that they're not going to use government funds to provide them.

I personally know two people whose primary care doctors flat out told them to not get any more Covid boosters pretty early on. This was after one of the guy's bloodwork came back really bad after the shot. I have another friend who had the same result. And then I have two other friends who had very serious cardiac issues after the first booster.

I was very fortunate. I was scheduled for one shot (not Pfizer), it was pulled for a week due to side-effect concerns while I was scheduled, so I switched up and scheduled Pfizer for some weeks later, and then news hit that a couple of women in Nashville had ALS symptoms immediately after getting the Pfizer. They were hospitalized within hours. Almost completely paralyzed. My family has a real bad MS history, and ALS is similar, so I figured I better cancel and do some research and figure it out. Well, I was not impressed with much of anything regarding the Pfizer mRNA shots. So we decided to pass. Those Nashville women eventually recovered, but it took many months. Another aspect was that the mRNA stuff was made in regional batches, so it was possible the Nashville "batch" was bad somehow, and since I'd likely be getting the same batch, that also contributed to me passing on the shots.

And here we are. Yeah, when Fox News, CNN, and MSNBC get more than half of their ad revenue from pharmaceutical firms, it's not exactly a context that engenders confidence in the media.

V, there's a recently published 500-page vetted paper that attempts to break down the 35 million or so excess deaths worldwide over an 18-month period. The paper's tentative conclusions were maybe 12 million deaths due to Covid and 14 or 15 million due to Covid-19 shot side effects.

This stuff isn't conspiratorial malarky. We haven't even gotten to any long-term mRNA shot side effects yet.

That's fine, maybe they're dangerous for some, but the wife and I have avoided getting covid and have had zero side effects.

So....why should I not believe that my own experience is instructive?

Kewl is doing just fine Rob. On a business trip at the moment, so haven't had time look for the nearest bridge to jump off.

Of course, I believe re-electing Trump was a mistake. But I am not about to take up arms and go to war with my fellow citizens because they chose differently that I would have liked.

Despite, all the trolling of me, I am a white man, born in the USA, so I will be fine. I guess my biggest concern would be for my mother. My brother and I supplement my mother and her small teachers pension, so she could put off collecting SS for a few years in favor if larger amount. Now I wonder if there will be anything dir her to collect. But even with that we will survive and be fine.

Since this was obviously so important to you Rob, and gives tour life meaning, congrats.

Ah, some legalese language and all that it entails. "Instructive" is quite a word. Doesn't mean anything precisely. Off the top of my head, you can believe that your own experience is "instructive." The question is whether your own experience should count in a meaningful way any more than anyone else's experience. Or whether it should influence your behavior or what you recommend to others more than qualified researchers assembling 500 pages of analyses.

Our own experience is always "instructive." The real issue is whether it's "helpful." Or "smart."

He references the paper but can't give any details to actually look it up.

    "Vetted" though.

Gotta say, the best part of Trump winnings is getting to enjoy the show as the cowardly, scared, weak, stupid, insane, evil pieces of shit, melt down in terror over the proposition, hey hey!

    It's kind of funny.
They were saying for 3 months that Kamala was ahead by 3 points.
After Trump deleted Kamala last night everyone on CNN and MSDNC said that it was obvious that Kamala could not win.
They literally flip-flopped on all there talk.
It was funny and crazy at the same time as they said she never had a chance because she only campaigned for 107 days lol.
Oh, and the country is Racist and Sexist.
    I don't understand that?
Didn't our country vote for Obama for two terms???
How we racist and voting in a black president for 8 years??

Some 25% of demorats actually believe that men can get pregnant, by contrast just about 0% of republican subscribe to that insanity and retardation. So, at the very least, for the times being, the forces of sanity have prevailed over the forces of bats-shit insanity, hey hey.

I hung out with a group of rightwingers. A big part of their happiness seemed derived from finding some social
Media persona crying or being emotional.

Let's watch msnbc to see this. It is why they watched a liberal news source.

This was some big theme for the muppets. They all ate it up. Living in their little silos of faker news. Being told what to think and what to celebrate.

That literally had a lot of importance to them. Sad and pathetic.

I'm starting to believe that Voter Mail Fraud won Biden the 2020 Election.
    The math is odd.
14 Million more people came out to vote for Biden compared to Harris?
    Weird.

Exactly. The country is racist and sexist. Worse yet, it's not batshit crazy enough to love transgender men spiking volleyballs down women's throat.

Regarding the racism, there was a great anecdote in Newsweek, I think, way back when. A polltaker was visiting homes to get numbers in Washington County, PA, which (if you don't know) is really conservative. Anyway, the poll sampler knocks on a door, an older woman answers, and the polltaker asks who they were going to vote for. Obama was running. So the woman yells back to her husband, "Who are we voting for?" He's in another room, on a LazyBoy watching a game. He yells back, "We're voting for the nigger." The poll taker said that she figured out right then that Obama was going to win.

There's racism, and then there's who you're voting for.
