Keep in mind that people who don't like Trump hate him quite passionately. They would have voted for a drooling chimp if the dems ran it against him. I'm just glad my mom doesn't live in a tall building.

He would have been saluted and treated with respectful kid gloves because of the seriousness of that event and his ongoing emotional recovery from it.

Instead, the assassination attempt(s) were barely mentioned.

People in the military who have had deaths occur next to them on duty receive more sustained care and attention, more rest and help, than Trump. Yet all of this was downplayed and ignored. It really was a merciless, one-sided press coverage. I say this as a former journalism major (I eventually switched to English/Writing to learn under Robert Gannon, adventure editor for Popular Science) who has worked for several newspapers. The media coverage was almost what you would expect from a Soviet paper circa 1970. Fox was once the most biased of the three major news networks. Now it's arguably the least biased, which is scary. MSNBC is clearly more biased than Fox, and MSNBC is also shrill and silly. CNN is okay as long as Jake Tapper is in the room. Without him, it's also off the rails. Firing Chris Cuomo did not help them from a credibility and reasonableness standpoint.
His ear was nicked bro. I've broken a foot and walked a few hundred yards. Dislocated a kneecap and popped it back to walk it off. You want to act like you're some rough and tumble gangster associate. His fucking ear was nicked. Get off his tip.

And stop making fun of the new generations being scared this and that.

    Take aways from the election:

    1) We aren't ready for a woman president; what, they didn't "get it" when Hillary lost?

    2) People associate the democrats with progressive politics, and most of us oppose progressive things , e.g. BLM, antifa, student loan forgiveness.

    3) Guns: while not mentioned much during the election the democrats are seen as anti-gun, which is contrary to what people want.

    4) Social media has great influence on politics, especially with younger men: Trump and his cronies were quite active with podcasts and the like, but not the democrats.
    What, Me Worry?

I watched Morning Joe, The View, CNN, MSNBC and Kimmel/Colbert/Stewart all day & night yesterday just to see the all the meltdowns, the whimpering, the shock, the excuses, the blaming, and especially the PAIN.

I wasn't expecting a confused and shattered AQ to keep on giving.

Executive Order the ridiculous "EV MANDATE" out of existence on Day 1!

In every version of this exercise I have witnessed the writer just winds up describing himself.

C'mon, MrV. Alternative takeaways from the election:

    1) People don't appreciate when a party keeps a mentally degraded person, who you wouldn't allow to babysit your grandkids, in office and the person who facilitated the act is then run as a candidate because the mentally degraded person finally was exposed.

    2) People don't like leaving a billion dollars of weaponry they paid for in the hands of the enemy when bailing out of Afghanistan on short notice.

    3) Skyrocketing interest rates and brutal inflation.

    4) Lies about a global pandemic. Lies about how it began, lies about the efficacy of mRNA shots, lies about side effects, lies about millions of excess deaths worldwide.

    5) Unparalleled censorship regarding both the mRNA shots and the laptop of the current president's son. Plus a lot of speculative fiction regarding the Orange Man.

    6) Dudes pretending they are not dudes in women's sports, gutting Title 9 in an unexpected way and alienating many women from the "progressive party" that allows chromosomal dudes to batter chromosomal not-dudes in combat sports if they so choose, occasionally resulting in deaths. Rare events, but headline grabbers.

    Let's see...

I personally don't give a shit if the president is a woman, even a black woman: I always vote Libertarian, and this year I voted for the queer.

I do dislike progressive politcs, I'll give you that point.

As for guns, I have a couple pistols but rarely fire them, do not belong to NRA and am bssically neutral as to gun control.

I don't follow any social media other than a few gambling boards and a couple others where politics is not discussed.

Dems should have held Biden to his one-term campaign promise, they waited too long to shitcan him.

That theory could have been put to the test by running Jdaewoo against Trump.

I read these lists and I all I see is vanilla propaganda.

One dude wholesale took top secret documents to a fairly insecure location just because of his narcissism. Nothing on this list compares. Biden kisses babies on the head? Who cares. Always the rubbish.

It used to be AM radio where all the really old people like Redietz listened to inorder to be brain-washed but man those radio stations had some integrity. This influencer-grift thing is insane.

Yes, all very valid points. But there is more, and it is quite simple.

I was watching CNN's Anderson Cooper show yesterday with his panel, discussing individual takeaways. Scott Jennings, their regular sole Conservative voice, brought the house down and had jaws dropping after providing the most succinct analysis of this election thus far.

It was simple: he said Kamala and the Dems got destroyed because they forgot about the regular working folks--people that were struggling greatly with all the higher prices, and who saw the ridiculous open border as a major threat to their families' security....all while being gaslit constantly by Biden, Harris and that idiot Mayorkis for 3-1/2 years that the "border was secure with no problems" and "the economy was strong and inflation was transitory". And all this, while they were being told putting men in women's sports and locker rooms was "good for the nation" along with trotting out a genuine lies-infested goofball as Kamala's running mate and showcasing the creepy Doug Emhoff as the potential "manly first-man". COMPLETELY OUT OF TOUCH.

This, along with the strength, charisma, popularity, and very successful first term of President Trump, is why the dems got so embarrassed.
