C'mon, MrV. Alternative takeaways from the election:

1) People don't appreciate when a party keeps a mentally degraded person, who you wouldn't allow to babysit your grandkids, in office and the person who facilitated the act is then run as a candidate because the mentally degraded person finally was exposed.

2) People don't like leaving a billion dollars of weaponry they paid for in the hands of the enemy when bailing out of Afghanistan on short notice.

3) Skyrocketing interest rates and brutal inflation.

4) Lies about a global pandemic. Lies about how it began, lies about the efficacy of mRNA shots, lies about side effects, lies about millions of excess deaths worldwide.

5) Unparalleled censorship regarding both the mRNA shots and the laptop of the current president's son. Plus a lot of speculative fiction regarding the Orange Man.

6) Dudes pretending they are not dudes in women's sports, gutting Title 9 in an unexpected way and alienating many women from the "progressive party" that allows chromosomal dudes to batter chromosomal not-dudes in combat sports if they so choose, occasionally resulting in deaths. Rare events, but headline grabbers.

I was watching CNN's Anderson Cooper show yesterday with his panel, discussing individual takeaways. Scott Jennings, their regular sole Conservative voice, brought the house down and had jaws dropping after providing the most succinct analysis of this election thus far.

It was simple: he said Kamala and the Dems got destroyed because they forgot about the regular working folks--people that were struggling greatly with all the higher prices, and who saw the ridiculous open border as a major threat to their families' security....all while being gaslit constantly by Biden, Harris and that idiot Mayorkis for 3-1/2 years that the "border was secure with no problems" and "the economy was strong and inflation was transitory". And all this, while they were being told putting men in women's sports and locker rooms was "good for the nation" along with trotting out a genuine lies-infested goofball as Kamala's running mate and showcasing the creepy Doug Emhoff as the potential "manly first-man". COMPLETELY OUT OF TOUCH.

This, along with the strength, charisma, popularity, and very successful first term of President Trump, is why the dems got so embarrassed.

None of this explains why the MSM completely flip-flopped on everything they were preaching for 107 days??
They went from Harris is gonna win by 3 points to saying Harris never had a chance.
And they are saying that we all knew Harris never had a chance??
And now that Hitler won a second term why are they all not freaking out??

I was an old journalism major and I worked for a couple of smaller eastern papers, and what monet says is what freaks me out the most. Anybody who checked offshore odds knew there was a massive argument between the sports books, some of which were taking six-digit election wagers, and the alleged scientific polls, all of which turned out to be cheerleading garbage.

The lack of media owning up to what they said and wrote for weeks is what makes all of this a real Orwell example. This is what they do. Rachel Maddow was a menace to society during the pandemic. She and her network blithely ignore her months-long wrongness streak. It's as if she was never a documented ass and menace to society.
