I agree - Benicio is an infinitely better cast in a detective role than Kidman. For example, it was awesome how unflinching he was when the thuggish, corrupt cop Wally (Domenick Lombardozzi) engaged in non-stop mind-fuckery and intimidation tactics.

I love that Fucking Movie.
Benico does some wild acting in that movie.
I love how that movie ends.
I know people who have gone crazy like that and shake their hands while talking to things you can't see.
I love Benico in
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas but it took me a few years to realize that was him lol.
I guess I really started to realize who he was after that movie with Tommy Lee Jones in
The Hunter.
I like it when you don't even realize certain actors are in a movie.
Gary Oldman was really good at that for a very long time.
