You know, if that assassination try was an inside set-up (I am personally neutral regarding that possibility), then it suggests that the alleged "Swamp" knew what was coming despite all of the smoke-and-mirrors pollster bullshit. A story came out late yesterday that when Biden dropped out, he estimated Trump was going to get close to 400 electoral votes, which in large part was why he stepped aside. The whole Harris-as-contender storyline has been start-to-finish bullshit if that story is correct. And it fits.

We can't prove that it was a set up, but we can prove that everyone just swept it under the rug inside of a week.
And they just go and cremate the body without any sort of toxicology report or autopsy.
I also really hate how Trump basically never says a bad word about the Secret Service, and he seems to have let it go as well.
