We will see if the event itself is full, or if that will also be empty. A listener to my PFA show bought a practice race ticket for under $100 on the secondary market.

Last year I went because I (barely) got room and race comps. This year I had no such thing, so I didn't go. Main reason I even bothered coming into town was because I thought it would be a unique thing for my son to see. I asked him if he was interested, he said yes, so I went. Otherwise I was just going to let the tickets go to waste.

Was almost sorry I did because I shot off $8300 at Ultimate X that night, but then just as I was minutes from quitting, I hit a $2600 quad aces, so I stayed a little longer. Less than 10 minutes after that, I was dealt a 10-way royal and got $64k.

I don't think I'll top that trip.
Experienced gamblers lose faith in choice. For how many months and years did I scramble to play certain AP machines and as soon as something better came around AP-wise, I didn't bother with them and the grands hit. It's kind of hard living believing in predestination.
