Is Jewishness a race, where people share similar physical or biological characteristics?

Last I checked, the proper word is ethnoreligious, which means the majority share both ethnicity and religion. Ergo, you can join the Jewish religion and call yourself Jewish, but that doesn't mean from the perspective of most Jews that you are Jewish.

Plus we have the curious use of "Jew" as a verb, such as "I jewed him down fifty bucks." Now I use a small "j" for the verb, but that may be incorrect. That's my personal choice, and I'm sure most folks would say it was wrong. So if the proper phrase is "I Jewed him down," then maybe Jew is a verb that gets capitalized, which may be unique.
