Well, we are in interesting waters here. MDawg appeared to have said something racist, but if IQ tests and college board type scores support what he's saying, is it racist? LOL. From my own limited, pathetic sliver of living, I can report that yes, what MDawg said often appears in common tropes among the folks concerned.

The issue is, if common parlance is supported by certain broad-based sociological results, are we supposed to condemn the sociological results (say, IQ tests or college board scores or aptitude tests) as inherently racist? I'm not woke enough to think people have generally the same intellectual abilities. I'm not woke enough to think that cultural design doesn't affect intellectual abilities. I'm not woke enough to think that familial design and dynamics don't affect intellectual abilities.

So consider, for a moment, that the general parlance may be somewhat correct, at least in some measurable ways. You can, after all, be "racist" and also be correct.


P.S. I'm not sure if my community growing up was mentally ill or just very tolerant with a sense of humor, but I did have a friend who was Persian who often referred to himself as a "Sand Nigger." We also had a member of our social group who was referred to, warmly, as "The Jew."
