Well there is an episode where Frank Burns and Hotlips are threatening to go over Henry Blake's head to a General. Henry says something like, "you two have gone over my head so many times I have track marks on my forehead".
My meaning: Wizard may not be solely responsible for Mdawg being allowed to get away with what he has at that forum.
Nah, it’s Wizard, the Serbs don’t give a shit. It’s a small, small cog in their empire.
That said, I’m not sure what he is “getting away with”. He definitely cries behind the scenes and points stuff out but that is not against the rules as I understand. For the most part he follows the rules as written and when he doesn’t, he gets suspended like others. But also like EB he is good at riding the line.
As for his adventures, again most don’t believe they are 100% factual and at this point few bother to even comment on them. But what rule is he breaking with them? You can come back with they break the law of mathematics but again unless selling a system or otherwise breaking the rules, it’s allowed.
Personally I loved the tales of Ace of Spades years ago, another lawyer who played Vegas as a high roller. The guy was as honest as you can get as far as we knew and admitted when he lost big. BUT I also clearly remember you and other members giving him so much shit because of him just using a simple high/low count. It was his money and his adventures but he got so sick of the hassles he just left and the forum was a lessor place because of it.
But to say the adventures of a high roller who posts his stories would be welcome isn’t believable based on Ace’s experiences. Maybe welcome, but would still have to deal with the negativity, it’s just the nature of these places.
And I will say Dark Oz has chased a lot more people from the site than MDawg ever did. Along with Mike himself and his decisions/comments to those he disagreed with.
That’s my take on the subject.
